HELP THE WORLD SEE BETTER. New prescription eyeglasses through a sign-up program for children in the Malaysia who cannot afford glasses on their own. MOG provide better vision for the needy.
In conjuction of World Sight Day 2018, 100 pairs of glasses will be giving away through "HELP THE WORLD SEE BETTER" program. HELP THE WORLD SEE BETTER is at heart of what we do, and with your help, our impact continues to expand.
World Sight Day, 11th October 2018
World Sight Day (WSD) is an annual day of awareness held on the second Thursday of October, to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment. World Sight Day 2018 is on 11 October 2018.
2018 is the sixth year of the WHO Global Action Plan and IAPB encourages our members and partners to continue with our rolling theme:

WSD is co-ordinated by IAPB. The theme, and certain core materials are generated by IAPB. All events are organised independently by members and supporter organisations.

World Sight Day?
2.5 billion people around the world need glasses but don't have access to them; of these, 624 million cannot effectively learn or work due to the severity of their visual impairment.

how it works
who is eligible
MOG provides 100 pairs of new prescription eyeglasses for low-income individuals in the Malaysia through a sign-up program.
To be eligible for our program, applicants must:
Have household income at or below RM4000.
Student who aged between 10-17 years old.
Have no other resources available to them to pay for glasses.
100 pairs of prescription eyeglasses will be provided by MOG.
